Located in the Tarentaise Valley in Savoie, the ski resort of Les Arcs was created at the end of the 1960s. Today, it is a destination that includes 4 villages: Arc 1600, Arc 1800, Arc 1950 and Arc 2000. Offering a real playground for skiers of all levels, Les Arcs is a resort that will make you live unique experiences through its 5 high altitude sites. Heritage, culture, activities, well-being, each village will surprise you with its diversity and its avalanches of surprises. In the heart of the Alps, the resort benefits from an incredible panorama and a sumptuous view of the highest peak in Europe, the Mont-Blanc. Involved in an eco-responsible approach, the resort of Les Arcs preserves and enhances its environment with various action plans aimed at reducing the energy impact of its infrastructures.
The Paradiski area includes the ski resorts of Les Arcs, Peisey Vallandry and La Plagne. With its 425 km of slopes, it is now considered to be the second largest linked ski area in the world. From 1200 to 3226 metres above sea level, skiers enjoy an incredible diversity of slopes and a succession of breathtaking landscapes. From the Aiguille Rouge to the fairytale forests, Paradiski flirts with the summits!
Arc 1600 is the resort's pioneering destination and has kept all its avant-garde 60s charm. Ideal for the whole family, the wooden chalets situated in the shelter of the fir trees and accessible by the slopes offer an intimate setting ideal for a relaxing family holiday.
A little further up, we leave the family setting of Arc 1600 and discover the festive essence of Les Arcs with the Arc 1800 resort. On the edge of the forest, it offers a breathtaking view of the Haute-Tarentaise valley. It is considered to be the focal point of Paradiski with its many activities in summer and winter.
Then comes the fairy-tale village of Arc 1950, built almost 15 years ago. This destination offers 5-star hotel residences as well as a large shopping mall (40 shops). Very lively, it offers a luxury setting facing the Mont-Blanc creating a real cocoon of well-being surrounded by nature.
Finally, the village of Arc 2000 is considered as the best ski resort in the resort. Perceived as the Mecca of Freeride, and historically linked to the emergence of new snow sports, it has a vast area of slopes accessible to all levels, as well as accommodation allowing direct access to the slopes and the Aiguille Rouge massif. Free bus lines and taxi rides are available between the stations. As the slopes cover the whole resort, it is possible to reach the villages on skis from Arc 1600.
