
The Great British Celebration: the British week in Les Arcs
From 27 to 30 March 2017, British culture will be honored at Les Arcs with The Great British Celebration! From Bourg-Saint-Maurice to the summit of the Aiguille Rouge, immerse yourself in a British atmosphere, during these 4 days of festivities!
To be true to the English reputation, Les Arcs resort guarantees loads of fun and a great atmosphere!
The first day of The Great British Celebration
To start the week, a broomball tournament will be organized on the new ice rink in Arc 2000. "The Crunch" is the first tournament not to be missed. This English expression symbolizes the battle between the two most powerful European nations: France and England.
These friendly matches will end with a mulled wine and a hot chocolate!
Tuesday 28 March 2017 in Les Arcs
On the second day, there will be an alpine skiing competition on the Cachette competition course. The training and competition slope which was only inaugurated at the end of December 2015!

On Wednesday, you can participate in the Robin Hood Tournament starting at 3 pm. Armed with foam bows and arrows, you can become the new Robin Hood or one of his merry men on Place de l'Horloge.
Two teams of a maximum of 6 people must eliminate their adversaries, by using their arrows, and bring their flag back to their base.
The evening event will start at 6 pm, also at the Place de l’Horloge. For this British Family Party, DJ Fred Metral will be present for a Dance Floor on the snow. All the family are welcome, for mulled wine, hot chocolate, and toasted marshmallows around the fire pit. The bars and pubs of the Village will also be participating with their own Après ski, and adding to the party!
The last day of The Great British Celebration
To close these 4 days, a sledging competition will be organized on Mille8 at Arc 1800. You can then participate in Cheese & Wine tasting, and rock out at a concert.
Between menus, happy hours and parties, the shops, bars and restaurants of Les Arcs will all play the game, for a 100% British atmosphere!
