Known as ‘la belle’, Valmorel is well deserving of its name.  It has a wonderful authentic Savoyard atmosphere, helped in part by the beautiful wood and stone chalets and its lively and friendly town center.  Don’t be fooled, this small family ski resort belies the huge ski area at its doorstep, perfect for every level of skier.  Come and discover the warm and welcoming charm of a Savoyarde village just at the entrance to the Tarentaise Valley.  There are plenty of activities to do here both on and off the piste as well as a lively après-ski!

Ski Area
Valmorel forms part of the Grand Domaine ski area which also includes Celliers, St Francois Longchamp and Doucy-Combelouvières.  There are both a snow cross and a snow park here amongst the 165km of pistes serviced by 50 ski lifts.
There is something for everyone here thanks to their variety of slopes, from undulating runs along the valley to more challenging steeper slopes.  All within this wonderful setting and stunning views all the way from the Maurienne Valley to Mont Blanc.

Access
At the entrance to the Tarentaise Valley take the RN90 from Albertville and exit at junction 37 to Aigueblanche and signed to Valmorel.  By train the location station at Moutiers receives services from both the TGV and Eurostar, with frequent busses and taxis available to take you up to resort.  There are also bus services and private taxis to all local airports: Lyon, Geneva, Grenoble and Chambery.
