Val Thorens
The highest ski resort in Europe, Val Thorens in the Tarentaise area of Savoie can be found in the Belleville Valley, part of the prestigious 3 Valleys ski area. It is totally dedicated to winter sports giving you a holiday of guaranteed and exciting skiing and snowboarding! Being a relatively recent resort, Val Thorens has always been popular with every age, families, large groups and individuals. There is a plethora of activities to take part in and is a must for all winter sports fanatics, but it also has its fair share of bars, restaurants, shops and convenient accommodation.
Ski Area
With 99% of the pistes in Val Thorens found above 2000m, there’s no doubt that the quality of the snow and duration of the season exceeds that of its neighbours. Being on the right side of the 3 Valleys ski area there are also a magnificent 600km of pistes to be explored via the vast and modern fast lift system. It’s impossible to be bored here no matter what your level!
Access
There are frequent transfer busses and taxis available to get you to and from both Moutiers train station (TGV and Eurostar), as well as all the major local airports: Lyon, Chambery, Geneva and Grenoble.
