The resort is divided into two sites, Morillon Village and the Plateau des Esserts, a pedestrian site at an altitude of 1100m where most of the accommodation and the main ski lifts are located. It was in Morillon that Olympic downhill champion Antoine Deneriaz made his first turns! Its numerous ski slopes will meet the expectations of all levels of skiers. From gentle slopes to challenging descents, there is something for every skier. Morillon offers several ski spots, such as the green Marvel slope and its 7 km of descent in the forest! You can take the longest chairlift in Europe with 2.9 km of ascent which serves 4 new ski slopes. But in Morillon, there's more than just skiing! Snowshoe hikes are organised throughout the season, as well as dog-sledding raids. You can reach the ski resort of Morillon by car via the A 40 motorway in the direction of Geneva/Chamonix and then take exit n°18 to follow Samoëns. Bus connections are available from Geneva and Lyon airports. Finally, the railway station of Cluses is regularly served and buses provide the connection to the resort.
