By car

If you prefer to travel by car, Les Menuires is well served by an efficient road network. Here are some directions to guide you:

  • From Lyon: Take the A43 to Albertville, then follow signs for Moutiers. From Moutiers, take the D117 road which will take you directly to Les Menuires;
  • From Geneva: Take the A41 motorway to Chambéry, then continue on the A43 towards Albertville. From there follow the signs for Moutiers, then Les Menuires;
  • From Grenoble: Take the A41 towards Chambéry, then follow the same signs as from Geneva;
  • From Turin (Italy): Head towards the Fréjus tunnel, then follow the signs for Moutiers. Once in Moutiers, follow the D117 road to reach the station.

It is important to note that during the winter season there may be difficult weather conditions, so make sure your vehicle is equipped with snow tires or chains if necessary. The mountain road is scenic, but it can be demanding, so drive with caution.

By train

If you prefer public transport, the train is a convenient option to reach Les Menuires. The nearest train station is Moûtiers, about 27 kilometres from the station. From here you can take a shuttle, bus or taxi to reach Les Menuires. Train connections from major cities such as Paris, Lyon and Geneva are frequent, making it easy to arrive by train.

By plane

The nearest airport to Les Menuires is Chambéry Airport, located about 110 kilometres away. From the airport you can book a transfer by bus or taxi to reach the station. Other regional airports include Geneva Airport (about 180 kilometres) and Lyon-Saint-Exupéry Airport (about 200 kilometres). Shuttle services from these airports are available to take you directly to Les Menuires.
