The ski resort of La Plagne is made up of 11 villages; it is idea for a family holiday and has many facilities specifically for children. It’s a well thought out resort and everything is within easy reach and convenient, making for a stress free holiday which everyone can enjoy. La Plagne is part of the Paradiski ski area but has many other activities such as an ice-rink, outdoor swimming pool (heated to 29°) shops, bars and restaurants.
The La Plagne ski area is very easy to get around making skiing very enjoyable, especially as there are rarely any queues! Along with Peisey Vallandry and Les Arcs, la Plagne is part of the Paradiski ski area, one of the largest expanses of pistes in the world. There are over 425km of pistes with Freestyle parks, tree runs, beginner areas, a half pipe and boarder cross course; so whether you’re a pro or a total beginner La Plagne is a great ski destination for you!
Aime is the nearest train station to La Plagne, both the Eurostar and the TGV stop here. From the station there are frequent buses and taxis up to resort. By car, follow signs to Moutiers and then to Aime and then up into the resort of La Plagne.You can get a private taxi, a bus or shared transfer from resort to the airports of Geneva, Grenoble, Lyon and Chambery.
