Rendez-vous in Les Arcs to beat the world record torchlight!
The event will be held Thursday, February 18th where we will try to beat the world record of torchlight descent trying to exceed the number of skiers who will join the descent.
Currently the record is held since 2006 by an Austrian resort that has successfully raided no fewer than 2854 skiers. After several attempts to break the record of Austria, France and Italy, the Austrian station holding the record remains unbeaten.
For the record becomes French, the resort of Les Arcs invites you to participate in the event with family or friends to a good time at this torchlight!
The event is open to all and free!
The only requirement is to have a technical level 2nd star (basic turns in parallel skis, skid blue and red tracks) Children and beginners are welcome.
The participants are expected at 16:30 on bow snow front in 1800 so that skiers congregate before departure.
Children and beginners will ski on a blue run and can expect warm starting the descent inside the mountain restaurant the airfield. Experienced skiers will start a red track before joining beginners. They patienteront top of the 6-seater chairlift "Vagère" before departure where entertainment and hot drinks will be available so that waiting takes place in a friendly atmosphere.
