Arc 2000: the modern district

Located in Savoie in the heart of the Alps, Arc 2000 is a sporty, dynamic and friendly destination. It has captivated lovers of mountains and winter sports for decades. Located at the foot of the Aiguille Rouge massif, Arc 2000 is a high-mountain site surrounded by iconic peaks.

An avant-garde resort

Faced with the democratization of winter sports in the 1960s, Robert Blanc and Roger Godino decided to create a ski resort. This bold and ambitious project will become a global reference. They partner with architect Charlotte Perriand to imagine residences in perfect harmony with the environment while meeting the needs of modern life. Her holistic approach has created a place where art, nature and functionality come together harmoniously. Today, the Les Arcs station still bears the indelible imprint of its creative genius.
This innovative collaboration between the architect and the French Alps has given birth to an iconic ski resort that continues to leave its mark with its avant-garde vision.
One of the most striking aspects of Perriand’s contribution to the Les Arcs resort is the design of the furniture. She designed innovative furniture that went beyond aesthetics to meet the specific needs of skiers and holidaymakers. His creations, such as the famous "floating stools", have marked the landscape of the interiors of the resort and have helped to create a welcoming and functional atmosphere.

The birth of Arc 2000

Arc 2000 was founded in 1979. At that time, the idea was to create a place where skiers could enjoy the slopes in winter while being surrounded by breathtaking panoramas. Thus was born Arc 2000, a resort that combines contemporary comfort with the timeless beauty of the mountains. Since its foundation, Arc 2000 has evolved to become a destination of choice for travelers seeking adventure and relaxation in the mountains.

The ski area of Paradiski

Arc 2000 offers quick access to the impressive Paradiski ski area, one of the largest ski areas in the world. With more than 425 kilometers of fully connected tracks, Paradiski extends over three emblematic resorts: Les Arcs, Peisey-Vallandry and La Plagne. This harmonious combination of ski areas offers an extraordinary diversity of terrain suitable for all skill levels. From beginners to experts, there is something for everyone.
Paradiski offers skiers and snowboarders an incomparable playground. Beginners will find gentle slopes to learn safely, while experts can embark on challenging and committed descents. Freestyle lovers will enjoy the many well-appointed snowparks, while off-piste enthusiasts will be spoilt for choice among the wild and scenic routes.
Paradiski’s modern facilities also ensure optimal comfort for visitors. From state-of-the-art ski lifts to mountain restaurants, everything is designed to make your stay pleasant and convenient.
