Four municipalities joined forces to create the Syndicat Intercommunal de La Grande Plagne (SIGP). In collaboration with an architect, they imagine an "integrated station", perfectly adapted to its environment. In 1992, La Plagne hosted luge and bobsleigh events, becoming an unmissable destination.

In summer, the resort transforms its ski slopes into a large bike park accessible for all levels.
