La Plagne

Composed of 11 villages (Plagne Vallée, Montalbert, Montchavin-Les Coches, Plagne 1800, Plagne Centre, Aime 2000, Plagne Bellecôte, Plagne Villages, Plagne Soleil, Belle Plagne and Champagny-en-Vanoise), La Plagne is a ski resort created in 1961. Faced with the rise of winter sports and the attraction of tourists for skiing, it is the ski champion Emile Allais who goes on the steep slopes of the village to make a location. Then in the same year, 4 municipalities came together to create the Syndicat intercommunal de La Grande Plagne (SIGP).

Thanks to this economic dynamism, La Plagne has profoundly changed the habits of the inhabitants and has given new life to its mountains. All the activities and events

In winter

Created especially for the events at the 1992 Albertville Olympic Games, the La Plagne bobsleigh track is open to everyone. Hit an icy track at -0.5°C with a Bob Raft, Speed Luge or Bob Racing. Reach 120 km/h on this unique track in France and face steep turns for unique sensations. 

Ice climbing, dog sledding or ziplining, La Plagne is a huge playground for all adrenaline lovers. To escape while contemplating nature, snowshoe trails are marked to allow you to reach the peaks and enjoy the calm of the wild nature. 

In the summer

The Aime leisure centre offers a wide range of activities for the whole family while enjoying the lake for a cool moment. Several white water sports are also offered to hurtle down the Isère and be surprised by the beauty of the landscapes. Rafting, hydrospeed, kayaking, intense sensations await you!

6000D

A legendary race, the 6000D brings together trail enthusiasts looking for a new challenge. On 3,400 m of positive elevation gain, the riders start for a legendary race of 69 km. From Aime to the Bellecôte glacier at 3,047 m altitude, an exceptional course awaits you. 

SUPER8

During a whole weekend, La Plagne organizes mountain bike races, cyclo and VTT-AE. Solo or team, amateur or elite, several courses are accessible; from 11 km ) 52 km, from 576 m of altitude difference to 3 000 m of positive altitude difference.

Family Race

Embark on a fun journey with your family. The Family Race is a race on the heights of Montchavin-Les Coches where young and old meet for an obstacle course. Laughs guaranteed! 

Paradiski: a XXL domain

With 425 kilometres of ski slopes, Paradiski is one of the largest ski areas in the world, linking the resorts of La Plagne, Les Arcs and Peisey-Vallandry. Offering a variety of trails for all levels, it is an area that meets the needs of all. Paradiski is equipped with modern ski lifts that allow you to spend less time waiting and more time on the slopes.

Coming on holiday to Plagne Bellecôte

To get to Plagne Bellecôte, different options are available. If you plan to come by plane, the nearest airports (Chambéry, Grenoble, Lyon and Geneva) provide passengers with buses to the station. The nearest train station is Aime-La-Plagne, where you can take a shuttle to the station. 
If you come by car, for everyone’s safety, remember that from November 1 to March 31, winter equipment is mandatory (snow tires, chains, etc.). After following the A43 to Albertville, take the RN90 and exit at Aime.
