If you prefer to travel independently, Tignes is accessible by car from several major cities and airports. From Geneva, it will take you about 3 hours to reach the station. Lyon is about 3 hours drive, and Chambery, only 2 hours. The well-maintained motorways make the trip pleasant, and once you arrive in Tignes, you will have the opportunity to park your car in one of the many car parks in the resort.

The train is an ecological and convenient option to get to Tignes. You can take a train to Bourg-Saint-Maurice Train Station, which is about a 30-minute drive from the station. From here you can take a regular shuttle service that will take you directly to Tignes.
