In 1946, faced with the rise of winter sports, the department of Savoy bought land in the town of Saint-Bon, to build a new ski resort. From the beginning, Courchevel attracted snow classes but also international customers wishing to enjoy an exceptional natural setting. To come on holiday in Courchevel 1650, here are some tips to reach the resort. If you plan to come by car, take the A43 to Albertville and then the two-lane (N90) that leads to Moûtiers. Then you only have 30 minutes of car on a clear and secure road. The train station of Moûtiers-Salins-Brides-Les-Bains is the closest to Courchevel. Shuttles are available for travelers to easily reach the resort. Finally, if you plan to travel by plane, the airports of Chambéry, Geneva or Lyon-Saint-Exupéry offer shuttles ensuring the connection to the station.
